Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your primary focus will be to provide compassionate and ethical counseling services to clients. Your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions via live video, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for clients.
• Assessing the mental health needs of stable, low-acuity adults, then setting personalized therapy goals.
• Implementing solution-based treatment modalities tailored to each client's unique experiences and challenges.
• Developing and modifying individualized treatment plans, adjusting approaches as necessary to align with client progress.
• Monitoring clients' progress throughout their therapeutic journey and helping them to build healthy coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population of adults who present with stable, low-acuity mental health concerns. These clients may seek support for a range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, mild depression, stress management, relationship challenges, and personal growth. Our aim is to equip clients with practical tools and insights that empower them to navigate life's challenges effectively.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A valid license to practice in your state, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Psychologist (PsyD)
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, while a master's degree or higher is preferred.
• The ability to independently manage a caseload without supervision.
• A clean disciplinary record with no actions against your license.

Preferred Experience

While all applicants will be considered, we encourage candidates with demonstrated experience in teletherapy, familiarity with solution-focused therapy modalities, and proficiency in utilizing digital platforms for counseling. A strong foundation in the latest developments in psychotherapy will also be beneficial.
