Job Description:
Position: Licensed Mental Health Practitioner / Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Location: Canon City, Colorado 81212
Setting: Correctional Mental Health
Duration: 14 weeks
Schedule:
- Weekdays
- 4x10s or 5x8s
- 40 hours per week
- Schedule TBD
Travel Pay Package:
-$2,783 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals
Overview:
- Provide individual and group therapy services in a correctional setting
- Conduct crisis intervention and behavioral health assessments
- Participate in case management and treatment planning
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Additional Details:
- Virtual interview via Google Meets required
- No overtime expected
- No holidays unless approved
- Colorado license can be in process at time of submission
- 4-day Defensive Tactics training required during orientation
- Flexible scheduling required
Requirements:
- Active LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent behavioral health license required
- Colorado license or active endorsement application required
- BLS certification required
- Experience providing individual and group therapy preferred
- Driver's license required
- Ability to work in a correctional environment required
- Willingness to complete required Defensive Tactics training required
