Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor at Tree of Life, your day-to-day duties will involve:

• Conducting thorough client assessments to gather insights on their mental health status and needs.
• Implementing tailored treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-based methods.
• Offering one-on-one counseling sessions through teletherapy, enhancing client accessibility and comfort.
• Tracking client progress by setting measurable therapeutic goals and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Participating in continuous professional development activities, including workshops and seminars aimed at enhancing your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from children to adults facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. As a counselor, your empathetic approach will help guide them through their therapeutic journey, fostering trust and creating a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current, state-issued license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Bachelor's degree with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients.
• A compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client care.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage a caseload.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in therapeutic settings, particularly in outpatient care or community health, will be an advantage. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and telehealth systems will also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to a rewarding salary, we provide:
