- Supervise, coach, and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing training on service standards, menu knowledge, and beverage offerings.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture and recognize great performance.
Operations & Cost Control:
- Prepare staff schedules that balance service needs with labor budgets.
- Assist with beverage ordering, inventory counts, and cost control.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth communication between kitchen and front of house.
- Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Step in to manage the operation in the absence of the Food & Beverage Director.

- 2-4 years of food and beverage supervisory experience, ideally in a private club, luxury hotel, or upscale restaurant.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a natural, approachable, positive presence with members and staff.
- Must have a natural, confident personality, with the ability to talk easily with a wide variety of people on a range of subjects.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
- Solid knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and beverage service.
- An interest in wine and beverage procurement, bringing fresh ideas to the beverage program, driving sales, and creating memorable special events.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, and POS systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay calm and composed during busy service.
- Food Manager certification (e.g., SERV Safe) and responsible alcohol service certification, or willingness to obtain.
