As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, you will support the daily operations of Arc Bar, Third Star, The Market, and Sixes & Eights, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial performance. This hands-on leadership role requires a visible presence on the floor, where you will lead and develop colleagues, maintain service and brand standards, and foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork. Working closely with culinary, hotel operations, and Food & Beverage leadership teams, you will help drive guest satisfaction, colleague engagement, and outlet success across multiple dining concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Support the daily operation of Arc Bar, Third Star, The Market, and Sixes & Eights, ensuring exceptional service and operational consistency.
- Lead, coach, and develop colleagues through training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Maintain a strong floor presence, actively engaging with guests and resolving service opportunities as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, food safety requirements, sanitation procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory controls, and cost-management initiatives.
- Partner with culinary and hotel leadership teams to execute service standards and operational priorities.
- Monitor outlet performance and identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, efficiency, and revenue.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and colleague recognition efforts while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
SALARY
Salary range for this position is $67,200 - $84,000. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management required
- Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must have refined written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be a team player and a dynamic leader
- Ability to work with flexible work schedule is required
- Must have open and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
