Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures for a 13-week travel contract in Sierra Vista, AZ.
Details
- Work in a cardiac cath lab at an acute care community hospital serving an adult patient population
- Specialty focus in interventional cardiology, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Procedures covered include cardiac catheterization, stress testing, TEE, and tilt testing
- Preferred experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
- Uses GE equipment and Cerner EHR
- Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend on-call
- Call requirements exceed 12 days per contract period
- Occasional float to IR (interventional radiology)
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
- RRT or RCIS certification required; RN license required if applicable
- AHA certifications required
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures required
- Cerner EHR experience preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation is conducted bi-weekly
- Hospital scrubs provided
- Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
