Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and oversee the daily operations of lawn care crews to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. Schedule and adjust crew routes based on staffing levels, equipment availability, and weather conditions. Monitor productivity and proactively address challenges to improve field efficiency. Complete on-site estimates and job evaluations scheduled by office administrative staff. Accurately estimate services and enhancements for prospective and existing clients. Approve client invoicing and review completed work for accuracy and quality. Conduct regular property visits and customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction. Proactively manage client expectations and resolve service-related concerns. Identify opportunities to increase revenue through enhancements and casual sales. Implement sustainable action plans to meet or exceed revenue and production goals. Utilize basic computer systems and software to manage schedules, estimates, and records.
Safety ResponsibilitiesEnsure all lawn crews operate safely and in compliance with company and regulatory safety standards. Verify and document that all field personnel are properly trained on vehicle and equipment operation. Ensure assigned employees attend and participate in required safety meetings. Conduct and document a minimum of one safety inspection per month for each assigned lawn crew. Address unsafe behaviors or conditions immediately and take corrective action as needed.
QualificationsStrong working knowledge of lawn care equipment, machinery, and service vehicles. Proven experience in managing production-based service work. Demonstrated ability in sales, estimating, and customer service. Ability to accurately estimate lawn care and enhancement services. Experience using computers and basic software applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus). Strong decision-making skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Physically capable of performing field-based oversight and inspections. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the last three years.
