Description
In this position you will will analyze, interpret, and process EDI communications. This roll will be the main customer contact for order fulfillment, material tracking, and delivery for direct sales customers. The EDI Supply Chain Coordinator must develop and manage customer relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations. This position has 1st shift hours Monday-Friday.Essential Functions:
- Manage incoming and outgoing EDI transmissions to ensure accurate order processing.
- Function as the main customer contact for direct sales business regarding day-to-day activities.
- Handle EDI initiatives relating to troubleshooting or onboarding new trading partners.
- Develop strategies to improve inventory accuracy and on time deliveries.
- Continuously improve the accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the supply chain with time saving techniques or technology.
- Work with internal sales to minimize material obsolescence.
- Provide project support as required in new project development and product transitions.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external customers.
- Document new processes with role for standardization.
- Any other task assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in Materials Management / Planning, Supply Chain management or related areas.
- Prior exposure to materials management or related positions, such as inventory management, production supervision, warehouse management. The ideal candidate will have some experience.
- Requires strong organizational and time-management skills with good attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
- Must have strong analytical/problem solving skills, as well as solid negotiating skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Understanding of MRP concepts and ERP system functionality.
- APICS certification a plus.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Outlook, MRP software, inventory software, and order processing.
Pay Details: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
