Market & Café Food and Beverage Supervisor for the following two outlets.

Hudson's Market & Café offers a perfect blend of convenience and coastal charm, featuring fresh-made sandwiches, salads, coffee drinks, snacks, grocery essentials, and locally inspired treats. It's an ideal grab-and-go stop for breakfast, lunch, or beach-day provisions, and also carries Lowcountry gifts and keepsakes for a taste of Isle of Palms to take home.

The Sweet Shoppe brings out everyone's inner kid with ice cream, candy, gelato, sundaes, and milkshakes - a family-favorite dessert destination that adds a playful, nostalgic touch to the resort experience.

Description: The Food and Beverage Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in all food and beverage areas of the facility. This includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, preparing items, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. The role ensures a positive guest experience through prompt, courteous, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads and supervises the outlets team
• Conducts daily lineups before each shift
• Communicates all necessary information to the front and back of house staff for each shift
• Ensures physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant, including inspecting tabletops and side stations
• Responsible for daily report input and logbook entries
• Enforces high standards of hygiene and sanitation within the outlets
• Ensures the security of monies, credit and financial transactions
• Supervises the performance, attendance, attitudes, appearance and conduct of team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• South Carolina ServSafe Alcohol Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) required.
  
  Working Conditions:
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
• Indoor and outdoor settings depending on venue.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment.
